Dear Parents and Carers,
We have arranged a visit for Year R pupils to visit Honeybrook Farm as part of this term’s “Up and Away” topic. We will be leaving school at 0915 and will return by 1500.
Children should wear normal school uniform and bring appropriate clothing should it be wet (waterproofs, umbrellas etc) which they should carry in a rucksack or similar bag. If the weather is warm please ensure that your child has a sunhat and sunscreen applied before they come to school.
Children will need a packed lunch and a drink, in a plastic bottle. If your child has school lunches please ensure that you cancel your lunch the week before the trip, or this will automatically be amended to a packed lunch C.
The cost of the trip will be £10.50 which includes travel, entry to the farm, a tractor ride and insurance. If we do not receive sufficient contributions then we may have to cancel the trip- in this event then any money paid would of course be refunded. Please could your child bring their money to the school office in an envelope marked with their name and class. Don’t forget you can pay online: via your SCO account. If you would like details of how to access this, please see Mrs Greet.
If you wish to help on this trip please let your teacher know, your support is always appreciated.
Please detail any medical considerations on the reply slip below. Please include any medication that your child will need to take with them on this trip, your class teacher will contact you to discuss if it is thought necessary.
Please do not hesitate to contact the school office if you have any questions.
