Tonight saw the first meeting of the ‘Garden Gang’ in the second half of the Autumn term. The children worked hard for their hour raking the huge volume of leaves that have fallen and planting willow cuttings. We took cuttings from the healthy side of the willow classroom and planted them at the base of the dead sections. The hazels and maples that we think are responsible for over shadowing the southside of the classroom have been cut back. It is hoped that the cuttings will take and will quickly grow to repair the damaged area.
