Harvest appeal

Around the country, farmers having been harvesting their produce. In churches around the country, Christians have been celebrating the harvest and God’s generosity. In school, this term our theme has been Generosity. We have been exploring how we can be generous to others and why we should be generous.

Our harvest celebration in school is next Monday (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6) and next Tuesday (Key stage 1). It would be wonderful if we could celebrate God’s generosity by being generous to others. If you are able to send in an item from the list below we will then pass it on to the local foodbank.

  • Instant coffee
  • Tinned meat
  • Pasta sauce
  • Tinned custard
  • Tinned rice pudding
  • Marmite
  • Meat or fish paste
  • Tomato Ketchup
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salad cream
  • Cooking oil
  • Milkshake powder
  • Instant hot chocolate
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Shower gel
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • Toilet rolls

Please send in any donations with your child from tomorrow (Tuesday 12th October) until next Monday.

Thank you in advance for your generosity.
