Keeping children cosy this Christmas

An appeal for children’s new or nearly new winter coats and warm pyjamas has been launched by Dorset Council to keep children cosy this Christmas. At Holy Trinity Primary School we know outdoor play is incredibly beneficial for children and these items will help children stay warm and dry whilst they are outside playing and warm at night, during this cold weather. This has been a tough year for many and these items can be a significant cost for many families so this may help you or someone you know.

How it works – and how to pick up a coat or warm pyjamas:

Warm coats and warm pyjamas for children aged 3 – 12 years old have been donated.  These items will be isolated for a week to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission, and there is a week where families can drop-in and pick-up coats and pyjamas for their children. No checks, forms or pre-booking – simply help where it’s needed.
