We have been invited to enter a competition by Dave Cumber Vets. They would like some art work created by local school children to brighten up their consult rooms! The competition is running across four local primary schools and will have two categories, an aged 6 and under and an aged 7 and over. One winner from each category will be chosen from each of the four schools taking part.
The children are invited to create a portrait of their pet/pets – this can be drawn, painted, collaged – anything goes! The portrait needs to be drawn into the box on the form that they will bring home. Please do not write any information on the front of the form, but use the box on the back of the form. If your family does not have a pet, then children could create a pet portrait of any pet owned by other family members or friends or even create a portrait of their dream pet!
Once winners have been chosen by the veterinary practice, they will transfer the winning pictures onto canvases to display at their practice. They would also like to announce the winners on their Facebook page, so if you choose to enter your child’s picture, please be aware that your child’s name will appear alongside their entry on the Facebook page for Dave Cumber Veterinary Practice.
Pictures should be drawn on the form that they will be given, which is also available for you to download here – Dave Cumber Vet art competition form March 2022 – if you need. All entries should be put into the box that will be outside the school office every morning. The deadline for any entries is Wednesday 16th March.
We can’t wait to see the portraits of all your wonderful pets!
