Uniform

At Holy Trinity Primary School and Community Nursery it is our policy to ask you to send your children to school in the appropriate school uniform.  We believe that our uniform is sensible, practical and reasonable.

P. E. Games
ALL KIT MUST BE CLEARLY NAMED

White T-shirt or school T-shirt
Black shorts
Trainers or plimsolls
A suitable track suit may be worn on top of the P.E. kit for outdoor games in colder months of the year.

Children require a draw-string bag in which to store their kit.  As P.E. is part of the National Curriculum it is a regular timetabled activity and we therefore expect kit to be kept at school during the week.  A letter is required from parents / carers if P.E. lessons are to be missed through injury or illness.

A second hand uniform shop is run by parents and carers.  Please ask at the office for details.

Clothing Grants
If your child receives free school meals you will be entitled to apply for a clothing grant that will come out of the school’s own budget.  Please ask at the school office for more details.

For safety reasons we discourage the wearing of jewellery to school.
No bracelets or necklaces are to be worn and if ears are pierced “studs” are the only earrings that may be worn (one per ear only).
