Pupil Premium

Pupil premium strategy statement

This statement details our school’s use of pupil premium (and recovery premium for the 2021 to 2022 academic year) funding to help improve the attainment of our disadvantaged pupils.

It outlines our pupil premium strategy, how we intend to spend the funding in this academic year and the effect that last year’s spending of pupil premium funding had within our school.

Apply for pupil premium

Pupil premium is funding paid to your child's school or childcare setting that can be used to support your child.

It is automatically paid to local-authority-maintained schools for eligible pupils whose parent/carer applies for free school meals. However, if your child is in reception, year 1, year 2, or aged 3 or 4 years you will need to apply separately for your school to receive pupil premium. It makes a big difference to schools and eligible pupils.
